I apologize if this question has already been raised. I new to this forum, wasn't sure where to post, and I am not a mac user, but husband has older mac, g4, with a great big clunky monitor. Can I plug one of my pc flatscreen monitors into his g4, do I need an adapter? I appreciate it,

Monitors aren't associated with computer type. Any type will work will every brand/model of computer.

Depending on the G4 it will probably have a graphics card with ADC (Apple Display Connector) and either VGA or DVI. Most monitors will have both VGA or DVI. You just need to check.
