Hi

Another cross platform brain teaser....

I managed to get an 0SX 10.3 laptop and a windows XP PC networked through airport. I set up shares and intially they could communicate ( the mac share is mapped on the PC as a network drive ).

I was asked and then changed some of the shares and share names. Oh dear :(

Now the Mac doesn't see the PC shares automatically. I've tried sticking a shortcut on the laptop's desktop but that disappears after rebooting ( as do the shares ). How do I make a permanent shortcut to my PC files on my desktop so that I can see it when I reboot?

The old shares ( links ) I can see on my mac
( listed in directory access ( workgroup pulldown menu ) ) and when I try connect to server the old 'listings' don't work. How do I get rid of these redundant 'links'. How do I see the new shares (permanently)?

Apart from that it went well. Now I am pulling out my hair. Please help somebody!!
