PC to Mac convert In A few months External Hard Drive ?

I ahve a External HD that I ma using with my Windows Laptop. It is a WD My Book 1TB which uses an 2.0 usb connection. Will it work with a MBP which also has a usb connection. I know sounds dumb but, I just wanted to double check. Thanks !!! I looked and could not find this ? on the boards so my apologizes if this has been posted.

If it's formatted as NTFS you'll need 3G NTFS or look in the forum for directions on native ntfs support on 10.6

I'd make sure its formatted FAT32. Screw NTFS in an uncomfortable place. My externals are FAT32 and go from windows to mac just fine.

Kinda screwed if you have a file over 4GB though.
