im set on switching from a pc to a mac, but i dont know what to do about transfering my files (i.e. countless documents and 4500+ songs) to the mac.

is there an efficient way to conduct this transfer (besides, for example, transferring one gb at a time with a flash drive)?

thanks!

Take an Ethernet cable, connect the two computers, set up a bridged network between the two machines, and transfer your files directly. That would be the easiest and most direct way, since I doubt you'd have a Firewire port on the machine.

i just saw the mac commercial with the mac genius; is it true that the geniuses will transfer files from a pc to a mac?
