Today I will get my MacBook. What is the easiest and most inclusive way to get EVERYTHING from my iPhone to be on my Mac? What I am referring to is the settings, the contacts, iTunes stuff, basically everything. I have already backed up all my contacts from Outlook as vCards. I also backed up my iTunes folder and will import everything and replace the iTunes Music Library.xml to retain my playlists.

Is there anything else that I should do to make the process easier? I will have to sync my iPhone to the Mac and that will be the main computer from now on, so I presume that the iPhone will have to be erased and get everything recopied to it, but I don't know. Also, is there a way to export the iTunes iPhone Backup file that is within iTunes? Lastly, instead of importing all the music into the iTunes on the Mac, is it possible to just copy the PC iTunes folder and replace the Mac iTunes folder and retain everything, or is it better to actually import the stuff? Any advice or suggestions you guys have would be great. I also don't want to lose my text messages, alarm clocks, world clocks, etc...
