Hello,

I'm making the move from PC to Mac and I'm trying to connect my iTunes library that I used on my PC to my new Macbook Air .

The library location on the My Book Live is smb://mybooklive/Public/iTunes/christophe_music

What's the best way to make the Macbook iTunes take over this location as its media folder location? I want to keep the same location since my library is 300GB+.

Thanks

Well this worked:

1. Close iTunes on Mac and PC
2. Delete the iTunes folder under Music on Mac
3. Copy iTunes folder on PC, in my case it was under Documents and Settings\christophe\My Documents\My Music\iTunes, to the Mac Music location
4. Open iTunes on the Mac. Should come up with your all your songs from your PC but with an ! next to everything since it can't locate it.
5. Edit your the iTunes Media Folder Location to point to the location on the network drive where your songs and movies reside. Once you do that iTunes will update itself as it finds all your media.
