This is cool news - not surprising, though, as Apple typically ranks high in customer satisfaction. But it is nice to see continued recognition.

If you look at the survey, Gateway had been steadily dropping the past few years, and now jumped up a little bit, although still behind their previous marks.

It may reflect that Gateway is now in other personal electronic markets, such as plasma TVs and DVD recorders, and satisfaction on those products reflects in their overall score.

ah. makes sense. i just know gateway's closing their retail stores, etc had indicated a drop in consumer confidence for them...and it seems everyone who's owned a gateway has a horror story from them.
