PC wont boot with Apple Cinema 23 inch display (alu)

My PC wont boot with Apple Cinema HD Display23 Alu.
It stops after BIOS says AHCI BIOS INSTALLED just before the Intel splash screens should come.

Also the white dot after initial BIOS wont show up. The screen comes back when scanning AHCI discs but then stops.

So the behaviour is as booting with no screens connected.

My workaround is to boot with another monitor and then switch cables....

Please help !

Did you ever resolve this - I have the same problem.
