sorry for the stupid question but I'm not usually used to PCI-E slots.
if I'm right the one's in my Pro are PCI-E 2.0 slots...

..so what can I put in there?

can I use regular PCI-E "1" cards?
can I use regular PCI cards?

I need to add sata and extra usb ports but no idea which cards to buy (in the UK)

any ideas on the kind? I don't wanna buy the wrong ones
cheers

Edit - would this work?
USB Card
or
USB & Sata Card

Both of those cards are PCI. Only PCI-E cards will work in the Mac Pro. The slots will fit any PCI-E style, but only two of them are PCI-E 2.0, if your card requires it; one is used by your video card.
