PCI (v2.3-compliant)?

Will the LaCie USB 2.0 PCI Card work on the Mac Pro (early 2008). As far as I can see the Mac Pro’s PCI slots are only 2.0. Can’t seem to find any information about (v2.3-compliant) anywhere.

Mac Pro has pci express, it can't use pci cards
