ITASOR told me
"You could also buy a PCI wireless card and install it in the back of your PowerMac. I had one in my Quicksilver and it worked great. It was a PC one too, but the computer saw it as an airport card and it functioned just like one."

I have a powermac g4 (gigabit ethernet 500dual) ITASOR told me that I could put a PCI windows card in my powermac , do you think that if I put that in my powermac It would come up with it as a airport? ( I would be putting in a motorola PCI adapter from a computer I had before. G wirelesss)

any one think that would work?

I have the Belkin 125g PCI card in my dual G4/800 now and it's recognised by the operating system since it uses the same Broadcom chipset that Apple uses. As far as I know, no other card works.

Now, I just have to figure out how to configure everything. :D
