Hello, I'm looking for a working and tested adapter card to connect a PCI Soundcard with a Mac Pro. The deal is I have a Pro Soundcard (RME 9632) which is only PCI and don't want to dish out 550€ to buy the new PCIe version. This card works perfectly and it does everything I need. There are OSX drivers for the card up to date.

-Thanks

Well, look at that...

Wouldn't you have to take whatever PCI card you get off of its bracket on your own for that to work? Do you feel confident doing so?

If it exists, I'll bet that it works, but I don't know about OS X compatibility. Sorry.

Several PCIe cards cause sleep issues in OS X, but those are just general adding-ports cards. You never know.

I wrote and email to the manifacturer. The biggest problem I see is that the soundcard wont fit on the case because it would be too tall.

Also this card is about 50€ which is really good. I'm trying to sell my currect card. If i get 250€ i'll let it go and buy the new one.
