PCIe SATA3 for a SATA2 SSD = faster than using regular SATA2 port

Hello,

I know it's been said elsewhere, but I just tried it using an eBay asm1061 PCIe bootable SATA3 card, on my old Intel G2 80GB SATA2 SSD, and wanted to share the results.

XBench results (Total - sequential - random)

Before (sata2, regular MP bay) = 240 - 190 - 369
After (sata3, PCIe card) = 285 - 190 - 600

As my SSD is for the boot volume, that great random increase is most welcome.
