I have a problem trying to find a PCMCIA card 80211-G for an older (867) 15" Powerbook. Can anyone help with which abrnd will come with Mac drivers. Linksys, DLink, Buffalo all do not support Mac. Any help or suggestions would be fantastic. Also where to buy this item at a good price on the net.
Thanks

I've got the same question. Most cards only say Windows support. Will these work with macs, or do I need to find one that is Mac-supported?

You guys are in Luck!

Well, I actually went through this earlier this month and found a card that works GREAT!

First you guys NEED to go to this website:
http://home.earthlink.net/~metaphyzx/Wireless.htm

Now, when you look for a wireless card make sure it is supported by the Airport Driver so you don't have to spend even more money and buy a driver.

I ended up getting the Linksys WPC54GS version 1 and it has been awesome. You might want to try that card first since I know it works and it functions just like an Airport card when inserted into the PCMCIA slot.

Good luck guys,

Charles
