pcsx2 options for mac

hey ive got a mbp lion and was wondering if i should make the effort to bootcamp windows 7 to play the windows version of pcsx2 because its apparently alot faster or if i should just use the mac version. heres my specs if you need them:
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6770M 1024 MB

Short answer:
Playstation 2 emulation really depends on games. Ratchet and Clank for instance will run poorly and slowly unless you have a powerful gaming supercomputer, no matter Mac or Windows PC. Final Fantasy X will run at 60 fps more easily (so I have heard, not tried this game).
