Hi,
Some weeks ago I purchased the Casecrown faux leather portfolio case for my Air, and on the whole I'm very pleased with it. It fits pretty well, the suede palm rest feels lovely - and protects you from that sharp edge! - and the back of the screen feels well protected. I'll provide pics if people prefer.

But... After reading all the stories about people with damaged screens from trackpad/keyboard pressure, I'm getting a little paranoid about the possible long term repercussions of that lovely suede palm guard. It's true it's in no way a sharp edge, but I'm wondering whether that plus a screen protector - mouse mat thing could potentially warp the screen casing and ultimately crack the screen itself? If its a bad idea I've got a plan for modding the case to make it work better, but if I can save myself the effort and worry I will.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
