PDANet Sees No Configurable Services

OS: 10.5.8, up-to-date
Form Factor: 15" aluminum (or titanium, don't know difference)
G4: 1.25 Ghz

Phone: HTC Incredible
Carrier: Verizon
Firmware Version: 2.1-update1


I followed all of the directions very carefully. My phone and computer clearly
see each other. The PDANet icon on the computer changes when I connect
the phone.

I get all through the Bluetooth setup but the computer finds no configurable
services.

Any thoughts (other than get a new computer)?
