I currently have the Win 7 RC installed in a VMWare Fusion virtual machine. The PdaNet desktop client installs fine in Win 7, and so does iTunes. I have not yet gotten around to install PdaNet on my 2G iPhone via Cydia, but has anyone else this setup?
I would like to tether via USB when possible as WiFi + EDGE will really drain your iPhone quickly. Thought this might be a good workaround until a native PdaNet client comes out for the Mac.
