Hello,

Can someone please recommend me a pdf app?

My usage is as follows. I would like to highlight and annotate downloaded pdfs. And would like these annotations to sync across my devices.

I am thinking of keeping all pdfs in a folder in iCloud and using the Apple Pencil to annotate them. Can this be done?

You can use the iCloud drive app, for my it is good enough and similar to Preview on the Mac. For offline documents I use Adobe Acrobat

Thank-you. Is this app across iOS and macOS?

Yes, you need to pay for both versions however. It's way more fletched out than Preview imo and you can easily work with it via iCloud back and forth. Good support and without stupid subscription. It is not cheap but for me it was the best buy I ever did because I heavily work with PDF.

Yes, PDF Expert is an excellent app and is a great solution for now. However, when iOS 11 is released, you will be able to do everything you described natively.

Ha Kansas for the replies. I may check out PDF expert if it is free and see how it works.

Failing that, I may try iCloud if you guys are saying that will work as well.

I think we already have iCloud on iOS.
