Many sleepless nights are behind, and today we’re excited to announce an amazing update for PDF Expert!

If you haven’t used PDF Expert before, just give it a shot: it’s a fast, robust and beautiful app that lets you read and annotate PDFs, sign contracts and documents, fill out forms and even merge multiple PDFs together right on your Mac, iPhone, iPad.

This update is free for all existing users. You can get PDF Expert 5 here

So what is all the hype about?

Apple Pencil Support

Now you can take the most from Apple Pencil + iPad Pro + PDF Expert! Swiping with your finger and sketching with Apple Pencil creates a truly remarkable experience. The ultimate goal here is to recreate a paper and pen interaction pattern we all love.

We’ve seen many requests to add more Apple Pencil support, and we understand how inconvenient and sometimes not obvious it was to get your stylus to work. Well, that’s already in past, and some day you’re gonna long those good old days.

With pressure sensitivity and precision it’s an absolute best combo when it comes to PDF editing on the go. Now you can do practically anything with a PDF file using Apple Pencil.

Work across all your devices

Can you imagine how awesome it’d be to start annotating a PDF on your iPad, and then pick it up right where you left it on your Mac, so you can finish on a larger screen and a keyboard? Well, meet Readdle Transfer.

This is an amazing new technology that allows you to easily transfer PDFs, that you are working on, from your Mac to iOS and vice versa with one simple tap. Just make sure that all your devices are on the same Wi-Fi network. To use Readdle Transfer you have to have PDF Expert on both – iOS and Mac. By the way, you can get a new PDF Expert for Mac here.

More To Come

PDF Expert is not just another app or a PDF editor – we’re helping millions of businesses, lawyers, students and real estate agents around the globe to be more productive, so they can spend more time with the loved ones.

The new PDF Expert with Apple Pencil support and Readdle Transfer is now available for your iPhone, iPad and Mac in the AppStore.

We would love to hear you feedback!

Great update, but there is an issue in Documents. It looks like update doesnt work in Documents while usin PDF Expert as a default pdf reader- no palm rejection nor transfer. Annotating with pencil and transfer in PDF Expert itself works perfect.
