PDF Expert has this presentation mode for iPad when connected to an external screen. However, when I select 'document' it only shows half the document on the external screen. This on the new 11" pro. I wonder if this works on the 10.5", so that it is only a recent bug?

I recently had to contact their support for some questions and they were extremely responsive and helpful. I'd recommend just going that way with your question if no one here is able to answer.
Actually, I did, and they were able to reproduce the problem. Unfortunately, they said it would take quite a while until they get to fixing it, and the recent updates did not have a fix.
