Hey all,

I'm having a problem with Adobe Reader 11. I'm on Mac OSX 10.6.8 and when I browse a secured PDF file from school, it moves very slowly when I read it. Other programs, like Preview, are wonderfully fast with how well they can be viewed.

However, the reason I can't use Preview exclusively is because there are very important 'suggested answer' boxes that open when clicked that I need for learning. In Preview and Skim these boxes don't open when clicked. I've tried poking around the preferences in these programs but have not found anything useful yet.

Is there a way to either fix the choppiness of Adobe Reader or get a smooth program that can open these little windows in PDF files?

For reference, here is a PDF with the box in question. Scroll to page 5 and click suggested answer. If you're using a compatible program, it should open.

Many thanks.
