Hi all,

brand new iPad user here, just moved from a galaxy note.

I wish to be able to read a folder of pdf files i have in dropbox. What would be the best solution for this?

If you want to sync a particular folder offline like your title says, use either GoodReader or PDF Expert or Documents by Readdle (free). If you want to simply access Dropbox, download the app. If you want to simply read PDF's, all apps mentioned above will work in addition to iBooks (not recommended due to limitations).

I just use iBooks

That is a PDF reader. Does not allow sync or read/write from/to Dropbox.

Hi all, many thanks for taking the time to respond. Ideally what i want is one app to monitor the folder on dropbox and download to my iPad, from where i can open and read the pdf's when offline.

When on android i used the rather nifty app 'Dropsync' which monitored 2 dropbox folders that contained my ebook libraries and downloaded any changes, meaning i always had an up to date copy on my android phone / tablet.

Read the first part of my post above. Those apps would this.

PDF Expert and Documents by Readdle are the only apps I've found so far with automatic syncing. Goodreader's sync is manual (have to press a button to make it sync).

Cheers - just downloaded Documents by Readdle.
