PDF saving

is it possible to save a PDF that I have filled out forms on so I can work on it later? I'm using it with Preview on my mac (running leopard) but every time I save, the forms clear.

I ran into the same issue about a month ago. I didn't find a way to do it, sorry. I'm not sure if opening it in Acrobat would yield different results... I didn't think of trying it at the time.

Just tried it with the 1040 tax form, and it works fine. I saved, and saved as, both kept the data that i had entered.

It depends on the type of pdf file. Preview works with some, but with others it won't.
