Hi guys,

I don't have an iPhone but a friend of mine told me that the only way to read a PDF file is through either mail or safari. On top of that, jumping to a certain page in the PDF involves scrolling through the pages in the PDF until you arrive on the page you want to read.

So I decided to write an app that would let you split a long PDF file into multiple PDF files with uniform number of pages. What I need right now are some testers to test various PDF filenames, lengths, passworded, etc and also people with 10.4 (I'm on 10.5). Although the app is close to completion, I haven't had the chance to do the icon and will be having a final exam in the next couple of days.

I'm hoping after my exams are finished, I can look through this page again for feedbacks and comments and possibly feature requests that I can incorporate for version 1.0; which will be published after I have several other apps done.

I'm in Canada and won't be able to get an iPhone until Apple decided to release it here. It would be great if you guys can point me some of the annoyances of using the iphone in everyday situation so I can start myself with the iphone SDK and develop a solution for it. I could probably start writing an ebook reader that allows you to jump pages and remember last page viewed but I'm scared it'll be redundant as the big guys are probably already doing it.

Thanks and cheers,

Randy
