I just download the Bookz app for the iPhone and it looks good for synching txt files from your own desktop to the iPhone for reading. I have a few PDF files that I'm trying to convert to TXT but am not having luck. I tried PDFtoText but it didn't convert the PDF files I threw at it. Can anyone recommend a good app to do the trick? Thanks.

In Preview you can select and copy text. Then paste into Word and save as a .txt

I believe File Manager lets you view PDF's on your iPhone.

Thanks for the suggestion. Actually, I downloaded File Manager and the PDF I loaded was too big for it. It kept freezing up and returning me to the boot screen. I think File Manager is great for small PDF files and such but doesn't cover what I need at the moment.

I attach pdfs to notes in mobileme and read them on my iphone. Much more pleasant to read pdfs than text IMO.

Firstly, I was wrong its called FileMagnet (though you clearly know what I was on about), but its probably worth containing the developer if its crashing.
