Hey Everyone, I'm in need of a little bit of help with working out some problems with PDF's on my Mac. I've got a little bit of experience fiddling around on my MacBook Pro, but I'm by no means an expert, so forgive me if I'm not understanding any responses immediately. Here's the situation:

For one of my classes I had to download a case study from a website, but unfortunately it was a protected/locked PDF and I wasn't able to unlock it using Preview. I had to download Adobe Reader to unlock it. In the process of doing so I think that I set Adobe as the the default PDF viewer. I use Firefox and I quickly found that Adobe won't open PDF's right from the internet (my profs post assignments and other readings online in PDF format). Upon seeing this I wanted to switch back to Preview as my default PDF viewer, so I did that by clicking on a PDF (Cmd I) and set applied the default viewer as Preview. I tried to go back and open a PDF in Firefox, but it wouldn't open straight from the browser like it used to... I had to download it beforehand and then open it.

Can someone give me some advice on how to fix this? Ideally I'd like to be able to open a PDF from Firefox and have it load right away (Preview is good for this), but with an option to open it with Adobe is necessary. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
