Hi all,

I remember seeing a PDF viewer with built-in OCR somewhere for sale for OS X, and hell if I can remember the name. You know the one.

Anyone who uses this particular program, I need it or something similair to strip text from image only PDFs. These will be of journals I download from an online archive as part of my History degree; I need to then re-embed the text so it can be highlighted and printed off as my lecture notes.

Also, what kind of timeframe would I be looking at for a complete textual conversion of, say a 15 page article on my little 1.33 G4 (512MB)?

Ugg... help me out, somebody. Thanks.

Hey now, I was actually looking for opinions & info from users of said app too. Not exactly a straight Google and answer, but thanks anyway.
I don't use OCR software, brap - so I can't help you there. Perhaps someone that has used OmniPage Pro X can give you some guidance.
