PDF viewing problem on Preview

Ok, i've been having an issue with preview. I don't think its a Lion problem, because its been here since Snow Leopard, but i think the fix might have to be done thru terminal... and i have no clue what to do.

This is what i see when i open the file in Adobe:



and THIS is what i see when i open the same file in Preview:



...now, i really love working on preview, and dislike Adobe lots. Is there a way to fix this?

Works fine for me. You could be missing a font.

ummm... but how can i fix this problem?

Is there a way to reinstall Preview? how would i even go about that?
