PDFs missing from stock mail app?

Yet another strange Mail bug after updating to iOS17. In addition to search being mostly broke, now any PDF attachement is not showing as attached or viewable in Mail. I have several emails where there is a Word Doc and PDF but the PDFs never show as an attachement. Or any email I now receive does not show the PDF as an attachment. All was working in iOS16 but not anymore.

Anyone else seeing this?
