Hopefully someone has an idea for this, because it's starting to drive me crazy...

I have two displays connected to my Mac Pro (running Leopard). Whenever I open a PDF in Preview, it opens on my secondary monitor. I want it to open on my primary/default monitor, just like every other application I've ever used. (The position of my secondary display makes it more difficult than it sounds.)

This only occurs for PDFs being opened in Preview (JPGs, PNGs, etc. all open in Preview on my primary/default monitor). Yet, if I open a second PDF file in Preview, it will open on my primary/default monitor.

I've tried swapping which display connects to which port to no avail. One display is DVI (primary) and the other is VGA (secordary).

Anyone have any suggestions?

go to the spaces settings and set it up to go to a certain space..

i just learned this two nights ago :D

Thanks for the idea. This seems to change the Space it opens on, but it still opens on the secondary monitor instead of the primary monitor. Maybe I'm still missing a setting?
