Apps Pedometer++ changed on apple watch 4

Just upgraded my AW3 to a 4. Loving it so far, but I'm stumped why pedometer++ changed it's complication for the infograph modular face.

The old complication showed your steps (a number) and distance. The new one is just a ring with it's logo in the middle.

I've searched to see if I can contact the developer, but haven't found any contact info yet. A perfect complication for myself would be the old style complication but instead of distance it would show steps and flights climbed. Both as a number.

Does anyone else prefer the old style?

I'm guessing this has to do with the watch complication you're using and less to do with the app itself. Can you try changing to a complication you used on AW3 and see if it reverts back to the pedometer++ complication you prefer?
