Hi everyone 👋

I’d like to share a new macOS utility I’ve been working on – PeekNote.

It’s a lightweight, always-on-top note-taking app designed to keep your code snippets, notes, and task lists within reach—without cluttering your workspace or disrupting your focus.

🧠 I built PeekNote to solve a personal pain point: constantly switching between windows just to copy or check a note. With PeekNote, everything stays visible and accessible, right where you need it.

Key features:
  • 💡 Always on top – Notes stay visible above all apps for quick reference
  • 🔄 Clipboard-friendly – Easy copy/paste for code, text, or tasks
  • 🟦 Color-coded tabs – Organize notes by project, theme, or priority
  • ⚡️ Fast & minimal – Lightweight, snappy, and unobtrusive

It’s available now as a free download on the Mac App Store:

Would love your thoughts or suggestions for future improvements! 🙏
Thanks for checking it out.

If I install this on two Macs, will the contents stay in sync? I'm currently using Tot for quick text notes, which syncs via iCloud, curious to know if PeekNote could fill the same need.

For now, I’m focusing on keeping the core experience solid, but multi-device support is something I’d love to explore in future updates.
