I used to use an older version of Kaaza on the PC, one with no spyware - It worked very very well.

What is the BEST peer to peer app on the mac - any advice?

Poisoned is really good. It connects to fasttrack (kazaa), gnutella and others.

And my favourite but a bit hard to setup becuase it uses x11 is nicotine. Nicotine connects to soulseek. The soulseek network is the best if you are looking for underground electronica or techno.
