Pegasus Raid Array Owners: I Have a Question

I just received my Pegasus3 R6 24TB Raid 5 array. Does your Pegasus hard drives make a lot of noise while you’re archiving video in FCPX? Is this normal? I was archiving some 4K video which archived fine but, the hard drives made a lot of noise while doing so. I'd like to add, the drives are quiet during native playback of the archive. Thanks, Ray
