Desperately waiting for Peggle!

News from March:

"Apple's become an important mobile game platform with the iPhone SDK," said Jason Kapalka, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, PopCap. "The new SDK gives us the tools to innovate and reinvent games like Bejeweled, Zuma and Peggle. With the new App Store we can reach every iPhone and iPod touch user on the planet."

Bejeweled is already out, anybody know something about the Peggle release?

Peggle was immensely popular so I hope the wait isn't too long. It's the only game I'd buy from them, Peggle is like crack.

Is there any word of when this is coming out? It's the only iPhone game I'm interested in.

Yeah, it really is. So little to it really, but the combination of the sound effects, the ball bouncing around, the music that plays when you hit the final peg.....aaaah, great stuff. Far and away the best "casual" game I've ever played. I demo'd it on my pc but mostly played it on my iPod Classic.

Peggle is a lock for iPhone fame hands down I can see it selling for 4.99 day one, and I will be there waiting!

If they release it before end of the year heck it might even win iphone game of the year if they do a decent port of it. I think they're struggling on proper way to implement it the zooming in and out, etc.

Yes...Peggle is like crack.

It is. My kids wore out the button on my iPod playing it. I can't fix it anymore....

I should steal one of their Nano's and play all day on it!
