Penryn MBP Screen Defect

I was working with garageband and suddenly noticed this weird dot on my screen...i thought it was a dead pixel, but i look closly, it not, its sort of like a blur on a few pixels...

wondering if anyone has the same problem and if it gets worse, should i send it in for repairs while i still have warranty?i bought it when penryn first came out

I'm in exactly the same situation (bought mine at the same time), and I've just noticed the defect appear, only mine looks a little worse. What happened with yours? Did Apple fix it?
