Hello everyone, so I started getting sounds coming out of my MBP, the thing is I'm out of the US, so I sent it to an authorized Apple repair center. They got back to me saying they may either change the inverter board or the screen, I'm worried that if they have to change the screen they would replace it with the older ones that didn't use LED (I gotta say the picture looks amazing on the LED display)

is this possible at all?

Don't think it's possible - the part number and connection is different as far as I know.

Totally different parts. They won't fit in.

Also, the repairer will order the new part from Apple based on the part number of the bit that's broken. You can't get an old part for a new machine.

wonderful!

I was a little worried about having to tell the repair guy how to do his job, Thanks to the both of you! :D
