Penryn/Wolfdale Preview @ Anandtech

Just wanted to give the heads-up to everyone eagerly awaiting the new Mac Pro, that Anandtech has a preview up of the coming Wolfdale processor based on Penryn.

They test 2.33Ghz Conroe versus 2.33Ghz Penryn.

Indeed but they should have Yorkfield numbers up later, comparing it to Kentsfield.

Since they are based on the same core (Penryn) we should get a clear indication of what we can expect.

Well seems there are some conflicting numbers against HKEPC's benchmarks in a few tests. None the less remaining around what seems expected in performance difference.

It seems DailyTech got some early benchmarks of the 2.33Ghz Yorkfield chip, comparing it to the current quad-core Kentsfield.
