Having just come from iOS 10, I’m not sure how the “People” album works. It’s still empty even though it would seem it’s finished scanning. When I open it it says:
Photos scans your library to create a People album of familiar faces when enough photos are found. Scanning automatically starts when you lock your iPhone and connect it to power.
I initially had around 500 photos and I read the above to mean there aren’t enough faces in my photos, which are admittedly mostly landscape photos. I transferred another 700, and I still have the same message. Does anyone know if this is an error of some sort or have I simply not met the threshold of photos with faces to make such an album?
For the record, I had the same initial 500 photos on iOS 10 and had the faces album work just fine.
