So I'll be talking to people then all of a sudden they're like "hello? hello? hello?" they can't hear me talking. Sometimes they can hear me again after a little bit.

If it's an iPhone 4, it's likely the proximity sensor issue. You probably pressed the 'mute' button with your cheek.

If it happens again, just take the phone away from your face and unmute it.

nuhuh not that..

I've also noticed this. I always though it was the proximity sensor as well, but today I was on a call with my cousin and she starting saying "Hello, are you still there?"

so I pull the phone away from my face and its not on Mute and the Screen was actually off (proximity sensor was working), she told me that this happens every time we talk to each other. I've asked several friends/family and they all tell me this happens every time as well, but they always assumed it was bad reception and didn't think anything of it, so no one pointed it out to me before.

it only lasts a few seconds, but it does cut out.

I've made it a habit now that every time someone calls me (or I call them) I have to say in advance, sorry, but if the call drops, if I mute you or if the calls begins to cut in and out, I have an iPhone 4, bare with me.

I'm having the same issue. It's not the mute button. And sometimes I can't hear the other person for a second or two

omg i hhave never used this phone for a long conversation.. but I'm consoling someone right now.. and it's hung up over 5 times.. muted over 5 times.. switched to other menus etc.. omg..

OK THIS IS REALLY A BIG PROBLEM NOW>

I am on the phone with someone again and it hung up 7 times again!!!

And I looked at my phone and it was randomly calling my mom
