iPhone 15 Pro People that upgraded from 14P->15P

Device feels significantly smaller and lighter. The brushed sides make me feel more confident about not getting scratches; I used to be nervous about putting the 14PM down anywhere that's stone/metal/rough. Not so much with the 15PM. It also fits in more of my pant's inner pocket, which is convenient; the 14PM didn't.

Battery is about same, or better than 14PM. Phone seems cooler more of the time. Gets warm when doing heavy things, but similar to 14PM in this regard.

Camera looks better, I think it's the SmartHDR5. The Action button is fun, I'm tinkering with the shortcuts a lot. This must be what Android people are always on about.

Not that much of a difference for me, but I think that’s a good thing. Everything works. Its a an iPhone.

It is smaller and lighter than the 14P, and I am using a fine woven case instead of leather. Havent taken enough pictures to judge. The 14 pro took great pictures, and this one will too.

I agree with the poster above that the battery appears to be about the same. I’ve had the phone since launch day, so that may not be enough time to make a real assessment, as I understand it may take a while for the phone to finish indexing, etc.

Action button: don’t really use it, have it set to mute and I keep my phone muted all the time anyway.

USB-C: probably the biggest difference. I like it, and am happy to have it, as my MacBook and IPad Pro also use USB-C. But i haven’t updated my airpods Pro, so I still need lighting.

I generally update my phone every year, and give my older phone to whichever of my kids has the oldest phone. I could have easily gone without the update otherwise.

-15 Pro feels lighter, but aesthetically the 14 Pro felt more premium;
- Battery seems 10% better, still not enough to be considered good;
- I do see improvements in camera departments but I’m not expert;
- I don’t have any of these overheating problems. Just finished playing Diablo Immortal max settings on;
- it is very quick but so is the 14Pro;
- Signal is better and it does feel faster on internet via wi fi;
- type c usb is great;
- less crash and app reloading with (finally) 8gb ram

I’m satisfied!

Could you share your experience?
iPhone pro max 15 is lighter than the 14 pro max which is very good for carrying it in my light material short such as my gym short. The 14 pro max heavyweight always pulled down my light material short while it was in my short pocket requiring me to readjusting my short many times including holding the phone in the pocket to prevent from wardrobe malfunction. It was really annoying. iPhone 15 pro max light weight resolved this issue.

Lighter.
Easier to hold.
USB-C to the rescue.
Better battery.
Better wifi connectivity and speeds.
Better photos.
Havent had any apps crash/less reloading (8GB ram).
Action button is awesome. Turning on my car with it.
Highly satisfied.
Went to apple store today to trade in the 14PM. I'm on AUP.

All of the above. I have to say I am happier with this upgrade from 14PM to the 15PM than I was from 13PM to 14PM. I did not think the Action Button would be a big thing but oddly I set mine to the Magnifier my husband has Macular Degeneration, he does not have a cell phone. But when we go to restaurants I can quickly go to the magnifier and there is also a light on that for him to read menus. It has come in handy.
I did not think the USB-C would be a big deal either but since my iPad Mini 6 was USB-C it makes it hand. I agree the photos seem a lot sharper and also have not had apps crash. I have a game I play daily that would always crash and so far no problems. Over all far more favorable pros over my last upgrade last year.

I think the lighter weight and curved edges alone make it worth the upgrade. The 12 -14 Pro models were great phones but they were not comfortable to hold for any extended period, especially if you go caseless. The heft combined with the sharp edges were just unpleasant in the hand.
