I have an 11 pro and I film all my talking head YouTube videos with the telephoto lens. I know the main wide camera got an upgrade and has better low light and cleaner signal with bigger ISO range. But I can’t find many comparisons specifically showing 11 pro telephoto video vs 12 pro telephoto video. Can anyone chime in?

I find the camera quality between the 11 Pro and the 12 Pro negligible. You should absolutely NOT upgrade for the camera.

However,if you like the form factor and want it for that,go for it.

I echo the sentiment of the other two posts. It’s not a huge upgrade from a camera perspective. Night mode on all the lenses are nice, but not hundreds of dollars nicer. For me, video between the two devices are very similar. I will say video is nicer in HDR mode though. Much brighter and colors have a bit more contrast and pop. When switching between 1x and 2x you still get a sucking in effect and the quality becomes just a smidge worse. Shouldn’t notice if you’re shooting 2x the whole time. I returned my 12 Pro (and admittedly 12 Pro Max). Being that you already have the 11, I would advise waiting for the 2021 model, at least.

I “upgraded” from the iPhone 11PM to iPhone 12PM, mainly because i use my yearly upgrade every year, even though i was actually thinking of skipping the 12PM because there wasn’t much of a upgrade, i still don’t think there is that much of a difference, but what really pushed me over to the 12PM was it actually ended up being cheaper, and no there were no discounts for 3,6, or 12 months, my bill actually went down by almost 12$ and this was also having to upgrade my data plan to a 5G plan, and also got more incentives i get the Disney bundle that includes Disney, Hulu and ESPN+, and they also added the Discovery+ bundle which also in not for a limited time but for as long as i stay on this 5G plan,
So the phone itself my not be that much of an upgrade but Verizon made it worth it to switch...

sorry i know this is a little off topic, but i will always tell people that the upgrade to the 12 is worth it, or i think so
