People with new 15" or 17" question about Intel HD

do you find intel hd graphics performance for non intensive tasks sluggish like scrolling on certain sites and maximizing a youtube video, i see a white screen for two seconds before the full screen renders. not like this when i disable automatic graphics switching...

i also used migration assistant to get my data back from my 2009 c2d i sold.

help?

edit: just seems to happen with firefox, not chrome or safari.

Maximising a YouTube window will always be sluggish because of Flash. Though.. you say when you are on discrete graphics that doesn't happen?

Also, I'd do a clean install. Migrating systems can cause problems.

Best to start fresh, reinstall all your applications, transfer your documents over etc.

Still waiting on my new 15" MBP to get delivered so I'm not quite sure about any of those issues yet, but for YouTube, you may want to try using the HTML5 player instead of Flash. http://www.youtube.com/html5
