I found a store (Duane Reade, NYC) carrying Diet Pepsi with the Pepsi/iTunes free song promotion. The directions on the side of the bottle instruct winners to:

1.) Go to iTunes.com and download one free song.
Plus...
2.) Get one entry for a chance to win an iPod mini. One winner every hour.

The Apple site still says coming soon:

No, I don't think the mini was even around at the time. I haven't heard anything about them doing it this time either - but there it is on the bottle.
