A little background, this mount is the official HTC mount for the EVO 3d.

I originally bought this mount for my EVO 3d but recently got the iphone 5. The mount fits my iphone 5 with a case PERFECTLY, its almost as if it was designed to do so. I did have to remove the USB plug on the mount so it wouldn't constantly hit my phone but otherwise its almost as if its made for the iphone. You need to mount it with the plug facing the RIGHT that way the plug can go in between the two prongs that hold it in. The prong on the left is directly over the lightning port. This mount also comes with a car USB plug with 2 1amp USB plugs. Seeing as how all the lightning cables have a special chip in them so 3rd party manufacturers can't make any yet I honestly think this is the best dock out there for quite a while.
The one CON I have noticed is that without a case on the phone the dock doesn't hold the iphone5 well, but with a case it fits like a glove. How well it fits depends on the size of the case. I personally have this case on my phone:
