PPS by OnOneSoftware has become my single editing plug in. I do basic edits in LR and then finish images in PPS. For me it has replaced Photoshop, Pixelmator, Helicon Focus, and the Nik Collection.
PPS 9.5 is a free upgrade if you already own 9.0.
