I would buy one alone to use as dedicated home theater remote given a good app could run everything. The Remote and Comcast app work great but my Harmony remote is still required to switch inputs. If Apple could figure this out I'd buy 2-3 iPad Minis and removable flush mount them around the house....

Guess I can't ask for everything.....
 
The Logitech Harmony Link is supposed to do this. Too bad it's currently a mess.

True......Maybe the 2nd or 3rd Gen Harmony link app will give all the necessary features to truly eliminate ALL OEM remotes because there are reported too many issues with missing feature buttons and unreliable updates....
 
My guess is Logitech will just ignore the Link into oblivion as it's a niche market compared to their regular remote line and could in theory hurt the sales of their high end Harmony remotes.
