Performa 5200CD *dead power suply*?

dont know if this is the right thread but, i picked up a Performa 5200CD, from the dump, and its in perfect condition, but when you go to turn the power on, it does nothing, could this have a dead power suply, broken switch?

First thing to try is to replace the PRAM battery in the machine

Who remembers which battery it is? Perhaps the 4.5V Alkaline. Anyway, pull the battery out and take it with you (make careful not of how it or it's jumper plug are oriented) -- should be $15 or less at a Radio Shack
