Performance difference between the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus?

Given their internals are largely identical, would it be likely that the iPhone 6 Plus will underperform the iPhone 6 given that it has the same processor to deal with significantly more pixels?

I can't help but think I'll be disappointed if I get the 'premium' phone and find out the 4.7" iPhone has better benchmarking.

You don't know know what they are clocked at as well as how much ram are in the phones, just like everyone else.

The A7 has no issues handling 2048x1536. 1080p should be quite easy for the A8.
